In 2007, the following textbook, of which Dr. Gabrielle was an author, received the Outstanding Human Performance Communication Award from the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI):

Dr. Gabrielle left her position last year as project manager for the $6.2 million Department of Homeland Security project to train port security personnel around the nation. The project was funded through Florida State University's Learning Systems Institute. Gabrielle helped form collaborations with the Ports of Seattle, Tacoma, New York/ New Jersey, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Canaveral, Houston, Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Charleston, as well as Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers in Charleston and Glynco. Dr. Gabrielle enjoyed her work on the project, but knew that she could be more effective by returning to her consulting work. She now enjoys a thriving business that helps other individuals and businesses. |
